Inhalation/Isabella Doucette

I inhale
A full, steady breath
I feel impatient, overwhelmed
With anticipation, motivated 
To persevere through
another week, through
 the triumphs and tribulations, expected but not always welcomed,

And accompanied with each day
I am grateful
Not only for those I share this breath with
But for the world

Another opportunity
To see this world, chaotic and brilliant,
Through an altered lens, panoramic and picturesque,

I am rejuvenated
And with gratitude 
and love...
I exhale.
