Nothing can be destroyed, only changed
So it stands to reason that,
I can only change these thoughts
          My train can’t be stopped.
                    Dead in its tracks.
                              It has to gradually shift,
                                          Change over time and adjust
                                            
                                                                                                   I might take leaps forward
             I might fall behind and have to work a little harder

I’m not asking to stop completely
Just to                                              pivot
                                                                    The feelings can remain, but they just can’t be for you
                                                                                                                                   I just need to find 
                                                                                                                                         someone new

Will Fischer is a graduating senior with a double major in Theatre Studies and English. This is his first (and final) time being published in Graphos. After graduation he’ll be moving to Chicago to pursue a career that hopefully incorporates both majors.
