Meet me under the stars where your soul found mine
When the world around us seemed to shine
Meet me in the Madison rain where our lips locked
When you looked at me and knew our love could not be stopped
Meet me in the summer sun where our hearts began to melt
When nothing else mattered but the feelings that we felt
Don’t leave me in this world without the wonderful things you do
So meet me in our fields of love, 
I’ll be waiting there for you

Alejandrina Ross is a Spanish and Political Science major from La Crosse, WI who enjoys connecting with friends, traveling, and writing poetry! Since she was young, she has been writing, but recently has found the confidence to share her work with the world. Poetry and dance have been creative and emotional releases for Alejandrina, especially in the last five years. These poems have been written over the past two years of her life and are about topics close to her heart such as her faith and relationship with Jesus, love, and excitement for life and adventure.
